This Privacy Policy explains how alive unlocked, the coaching and speaking practice of Jenn Smukler based in Hermosa Beach, California ("alive unlocked," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and protects information when you visit aliveunlocked.com (the "Site"), request our free guide, book a call, or get in touch with us.

Information we collect

Information you give us. We collect only what you choose to share:

• Contact form: your name, email address, the topic you are reaching out about (coaching, speaking or a corporate event, a press or media inquiry, or something else), and your message.
• ALIVE Method Blueprint signup: your email address, which you provide to receive the free guide.
• Call scheduling: when you book a coaching strategy call or speaking inquiry call, the details you enter into our scheduling tool, such as your name, email address, and preferred time.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages requested, and the date and time of your visit. This information is used to deliver and secure the Site.

Analytics. The Site currently uses no analytics or advertising tracking tools. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy first.

How we use your information

• To respond to your messages and inquiries.
• To deliver the ALIVE Method Blueprint you requested.
• To send Jenn's newsletter, where you signed up to receive it. Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link.
• To schedule and prepare for coaching calls, speaking engagements, workshops, and events.
• To operate, maintain, protect, and improve the Site.
• To meet our legal obligations.

We keep your information private. We never sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone.

Services we use

We rely on a small number of trusted providers to run the Site. Each handles information under its own privacy policy:

• Netlify hosts the Site and processes contact form and Blueprint signup submissions.
• Calendly handles call scheduling when you book a session or inquiry call.
• Google Drive hosts the downloadable ALIVE Method Blueprint PDF.
• Substack delivers Jenn's newsletter.
• Vimeo hosts our video testimonials. A video player loads only when you choose to play a video.
• Luma powers the upcoming events calendar shown on our Press & Media page.

The Site also links to Instagram, LinkedIn, Substack, YouTube, Spotify, and published articles. When you follow those links, you leave our Site, and the privacy practices of those platforms apply.

Cookies

The Site itself sets no cookies, and our fonts are hosted on our own servers. Embedded content from Vimeo (once you press play) and Luma may set cookies or collect usage information according to their own policies. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings.

How long we keep information

We keep contact form messages and signup details only as long as needed to respond to you, provide the Blueprint and newsletter you requested, maintain records of our work together, or meet legal requirements. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

How we protect information

The Site is served over a secure, encrypted connection (HTTPS), and we limit access to your information to what is needed to serve you. No method of transmission or storage online is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable care to protect what you share with us.

Your choices and rights

• Unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any email.
• Ask to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you.
• Ask us to stop contacting you.

California residents. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to request access to or deletion or correction of it, and to be free from discrimination for exercising these rights. We never sell or share personal information for targeted advertising.

To make any request, reach out through our contact form. We will respond within a reasonable time, and within any period required by law.

Children's privacy

The Site and our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has shared information with us, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the Site and our services change. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the Site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
